Miley Cyrus vs. Sinead O’Connor
When a singer gets their inspiration from another singer, they should naturally feel flattered, but Sinead O’ Connor felt the exact opposite when Miley Cyrus said she was her inspiration for her provocative “Wrecking Ball” music video. Upon hearing this, Sinead gave her two cents to Miley saying, “I am extremely concerned for you that those around you have led you to believe, or encouraged you in your own belief, that it is in any way “cool” to be naked and licking sledgehammers in your videos,” she wrote. Miley then responded with shade, tweeting, “Before Amanda Bynes there was …” hinting at O’Connor, and posting a photo of the singer ripping a photo of the pope on SNL. Eventually, things became quiet and Miley opened up about their feud on The Late Late Show saying, “As far as I’m concerned, it’s over.”
