Oher Tried Setting the Record Straight
After seeing how the film altered the events of his life, Oher decided to write an autobiography in 2011 called “I Beat the Odds: From Homelessness, to The Blind Side, and Beyond.” It was his hope that this would clarify some of the mistakes in the film, but some fans of the film still think that the movie was true to life and continue to mistake his hardships for the ones that were shown on the big screen.
