The screenplay was written by John Lee Hancock, who based the movie off of the book, “The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game.” The book was written by Michael Lewis, who knew Oher personally from their time at school together. The film’s budget was only $29 million, but it was such a hit that the studio earned $309.2 million at the box office. But there was one person who wasn’t exactly happy with the film.
