History with Paramount Pictures
Tom Cruise has had a long working relationship with the Paramount Pictures movie studio. To the surprise of many in the industry, Paramount in 2014 announced they were ending their relationship with Cruise. At the time, Paramount cited Cruise’s public image and antics, largely stemming from his association with Scientology, as the reason for the split. Later, Cruise and Paramount mended their broken relationship and began collaborating once more.
