Tom Cruise holds the unique distinction of being married to two actresses who have played Batman / Bruce Wayne’s love interest in Batman films. Nicole Kidman played Dr. Chase Meridian in 1995’s Batman Forever and Katie Holmes played Rachel Dawes in 2005’s Batman Begins. Perhaps not coincidentally, fans have wanted Cruise to portray Batman in the past although he’s never seriously expressed interest.
