Martin Scorsese’s 1997 film “Kundun,” which is about the life of Tenzin Gyatso, aka, the 14^th Dalai Lama, portrays Tibetans as non-violent. But before China invaded Tibet, the Tibetan monks tortured their human slaves. This major historical fact, however, was kept out of the film.
