International Spin-Offs Aren’t as Successful
“American Pickers” is currently in its 22nd season and a total ratings’ hit, so producers decided to spin the show off in other countries. Unfortunately, they didn’t fare as well as the long-running series. “Canadian Pickers” lasted four seasons before being cancelled and “Australian Pickers” lasted two seasons before meeting its end. Fortunately, viewers in the UK, Spain, Romania, and Israel are able to enjoy the original series which airs in those respective countries.
