The Rundown Airstream Wasn’t Profitable
As if the train set debacle wasn’t embarrassing enough, the pickers also suffered another loss when they spent $8,000 on a rundown 1948 Airstream travel trailer. They ended up trading it for a measly $5,000 and an antique motorcycle, which wasn’t as good of a trade as it seemed because the pickers also spent $3,000 on repairing the travel trailer. So, in the end they spent more than they earned, making it one of the worst deals ever.
