Pauly D from “Jersey Shore” Before
Pauly D was chosen for the cast of “Jersey Shore” in 2009 because casting directors liked his look on Myspace. This casting proved to be the right choice as he won the 2011 Teen Choice Award for Choice Reality Star. He started his career as a DJ before the show, which is when he first started going by the name Pauly D.
