Ruby and Monique played Ren Stevens’ best friends. Ruby played by Lauren Frost and Monique played by Kenya Williams. Ruby sounded a lot like Barbra Streisand and loved to gossip. Whereas Monique had a strong southern accent and was actually on the cheerleading squad. Two girls pretty different from Ren, but they all got along and were best buddies together.
