Her sister had known this all along. She wanted to protect her sister, because the family had received a lot of backlash; the protection of the enemy was frowned upon because most people didn’t know why their father did it. Later, their father was awarded for it. With those awards and the many photos, Mary and her sister opened a little museum celebrating their hero.
