The judge let out a sigh and held up the piece of paper the police officer had given him during the traffic stop—an image capturing a bumper sticker on the rear of Travis’s car.
Travis’s jaw fell open as he recognized the content. “Your honor, this is the first time I’m seeing this sticker.”
The sticker depicted a mischievous-looking boy urinating on a football, bearing the name “Brayden” underneath. Travis was appalled and hastily clarified to the judge, “Your Honor, I swear I had no idea that sticker was there. I never put it on my car!”
