Support Through Whatever Challenges
Travis extended an invitation for a cup of coffee, hoping to establish common ground and, perhaps, offer support through whatever challenges Mr. Johnson was facing.
However, convincing Mr. Johnson wasn’t an easy task. He remained bitter and angry, and Travis had to exert considerable effort before Mr. Johnson relented.
To his surprise, Mr. Johnson eventually agreed to the meeting. Seated in a quiet corner of a coffee shop, Travis earnestly stated, “I don’t know what led to all this, but I’m willing to listen.” Mr. Johnson released a breath, acknowledging deep down that he needed help and someone to confide in.
