Stealing Her Spotlight
When I found out I was pregnant, I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait to share the news with all my friends. I invited them all over for brunch, and when I shared the news everybody wanted to celebrate with me! Everyone, but my best friend. She began arguing with me over baby names and it just seemed like she was upset because I was in the spotlight for once.
That day, I realized that my best friend only wanted to be friends with me because I allowed all the focus to be on her at all times. She did not even care about the amazing thing that happened to me, because it did not involve her. I am glad she is out of my life.
