Irregular in a Non-Natural Way
Jonathan saw something off-putting about the little moss bed that supposedly housed the monkey. There was little chance that anything like this existed in the wild. Perhaps some animal used it as a nesting site. However, an animal would make more of a mess. All indications pointed to a single conclusion that was both perplexing and perhaps scary.
