Is he okay?
The monkey disappeared after ascending a tree. Jonathan waited patiently beside the tree for hours, but the monkey never showed up. Not knowing what else to do, he remained still. The loss of Monkey upset Jonathan. Did anybody try to hurt him? Was he homesick and hoping to go back there? Jonathan, after spending a few hours there, decided to go back home.
