Mark was making his way home from work on a cold, wintry evening when he spotted something stirring in the snow. As he drew closer, he realized it was a dog, shaking and whining plaintively. Its eyes were begging for help, and Mark could see it had been discarded by its owner. Without hesitation, he set off walking with the pup. All of a sudden the dog barked towards a bush nearby, catching Mark’s attention.
