Mark wasn’t sure he was seeing this right. There were two tiny, scared eyes looking in his direction, and when Mark crouched down to get a little closer, the animal didn’t seem to want to charge at him. Instead, it hid behind the rocks, scared of the dog’s barks. But what was it?
