The Manager Makes a Decision
The manager listened to the employee’s argument and thought it was pretty convincing. There was just one problem: the ball had been sold about an hour ago to a collector who bought it at full price. The sale already went through. It was too late to cancel the sale. The ball was being shipped to the collector in two days.
