Peter was doing his very best to make as much money from anywhere that he could, but it was nowhere near enough to make the down payments on all the loans they had taken out. The banks were ruthless when it came to their money and it was a very real worry that the family would soon lose their house. It was a difficult situation for the family, and it came to a point where a very difficult decision had to be made.
