To See the Jeweler
Oliver did not get any rest on the drive to the jeweler. His friend and neighbor kindly offered him a place to stay at their house. Since Oliver no longer felt secure in his own home, he agreed. He timed how long it would take him to travel to a jeweler and drop off the stone. When the jewelry store first opened, Oliver was there very immediately.
