Ravaux had double checked to make sure the French apartment had a fresh coat of paint and that all of the plumbing and door handles worked before the family arrived for their move in date. He even rented a wood polishing machine to buff the hardwood floors to make the home truly stunning. Still, he had no reason to suspect that this was a big mistake, and that he would soon be making the exact same repairs again as soon as the family was gone.
