Kingfisher Bird Frozen in Ice
This once in a lifetime sight was captured by a photographer who knew that they had seen something special. The birds are known to dive into water to eat small fish, so it isn’t any surprise how it found itself in the water. But it probably didn’t expect the cold temperatures of the water to freeze itself in place, ultimately isolating it in the ice for good.
