Ice Age Animals Have Given Scientists a Lot to Work With
The animal in this picture is a close relative to modern day moose, and a few of their traits, such as their antlers, fur and skeletal shape, are nearly identical to the modern day species. When scientists find these frozen specimens in nature, they are then able to carefully study them and find out more about the history of our Earth and the animals on it, so these creatures didn’t perish in vain.
