New Fields of Study Are Made for Researching Ice Patches
Because glaciers are melting at a faster rate than ever before in modern history due to global warming, new areas of study are emerging to research this phenomenon. Some of these fields are glacial and ice patch archaeology, which are focused on studying the remains of receding glaciers and permafrost. These new fields of study lead to more discoveries beneath the ice that will give scientists a better idea of the past of human civilization and other areas of research.
