Tough Choices
Peter made certain sacrifices so his family could have what they needed by suffering for them.
Getting rid of everything he didn’t need allowed him to feed his young children more precious food. Unfortunately, that wasn’t a lasting solution.
It would be impossible for him to sustain his family in that manner.
