He was now a bit closer to the elephant, but still had a lot of distance to climb. Then, he suddenly had another idea. In his trunk, he had a hammer and some nails. He quickly grabbed them all and hit one nail in the side of the tree, making sure to leave a part of the nail out to stand on. He hit the nail as soft as possible, trying not to scare the calf.
