Graham had sprung his trap that morning. He packaged up his creation and secured it inside a shipping box. He loaded it and bolted back inside. The slightest disturbance would trigger it, he realized.
Graham anticipated that the bait would soon be taken. Since this was the case, he hadn’t bothered to set up any kind of porch surveillance equipment. As a preliminary step, he planned to lay a trap.
