A Round of Drinks
Jess’ dad ordered everyone in the family a round of drinks to help console them after a tough loss. Then he saw Jess and said, “except for her, she’s a Red Sox fan!” Jess was hurt by the remark. She was trying her best to appease her family but they wouldn’t forgive her for the supposedly terrible sin of not loving baseball.
