Deciphering Its Intentions
Looking into the bear’s eyes, Marissa tried mimicking its gestures. She pointed at herself, then the tent, and then back at the bear, attempting to convey her confusion. In response, the bear let out a sequence of low grunts and pawed at the ground near the tent. Marissa’s eyes widened as she began to grasp the bear’s intentions. It wasn’t about her, but rather something inside the tent or around the campsite.
