He Needed to Know What Happened
Peter’s goal was to find out the truth of the matter, and he was determined to do it. Since he told everyone what happened, he had been banned from entering the forest in that area. But he didn’t care. He was worried only about the safety of that child.
His coworkers did their best to stop him, but they realized it was pointless. Anything that happened to Peter wouldn’t be the responsibility of the ranger station. Still, Peter decided to visit the woods.
