Into the Woods
Peter planned on entering the woodland while it was still light out in the morning in the hopes of seeing the bear. Since no one would be guarding the forest’s border at that hour, he felt he could enter without incident.
Drawing on his extensive experience as a ranger, he calculated the optimal next steps. Peter packed enough food and water for a week’s worth of time, as well as detailed maps. He just needed one more thing before he could start his mission.
