Time to Run
The bear was heading straight at Jacob. Peter made an effort to divert the bear’s attention, but the beast was solely focused on Jacob. There was nothing left for Jacob to do except to leave this area immediately. This could get very dangerous.
When Jacob felt danger he bolted as quickly as he could. He could now hear the approaching bear. Jacob fell to the ground, which was the worst possible thing he could do. But he sprang to his feet and climbed a tree in a hurry. The bear made an effort to pull Jacob down from the tree, but it seemed that he had made it to safety.
