Bringing the Baby to Safety
The bear seemed to doze off out of nowhere. Peter realized that it must have been shot with sedative darts. He soon became aware of several sounds emanating from his surroundings. More rangers began hurrying into the cave without seeing Peter. Just before they entered the woods, Jacob had called them. But they weren’t done with their mission yet.
The team still had no idea where the baby’s parents were. The police have not received any reports of a missing infant. Helped by the police, the rangers rushed the infant to the closest hospital.
