He Re-Started a Discontinued Ice Cream Flavor
Howard Hughes had a team of aides who assisted him. They went to great lengths to satisfy whatever whim Hughes had. Once, Hughes had Baskin Robbins banana nut ice cream, and said he liked it. His aides then tried to get a bulk shipment from Baskin Robbins, but they had discontinued the flavor. So, Baskin Robbins made a special order of 350 gallons. Just after it was shipped, Hughes said he was tired of banana nut ice cream, and switched to vanilla.
