Mr. Barrett Especially Liked Samantha
Mr. Barrett had an affection for Samantha. Unlike the others, she didn’t mind when he called her Sam or Sammie. She remained unfazed when he rested his hand on her back, perhaps slightly lower than necessary, and never withdrew her hand even when he grabbed it for a little longer than usual.
