John was well-versed in traffic violations and attending court. He knew that in the best-case scenario, he would have to pay a large fine, and in the worst-case scenario, he could possibly lose his license.
His biggest fear stemmed from him being an immigrant. If he loses his license, he might not be able to work. And without his work, he could be deported.
