Teresa felt a wave of relief when Burt offered to cover her son’s appointment with his insurance. She was overwhelmed by his kindness and generosity and thanked him profusely. He humbly admitted his negligence in his fatherly duties, and offered to pay for anything that was wrong. She was relieved and thanked him again, but he downplayed it, saying it was the least he could do.
