Teresa called the ear specialist and made an appointment for the next day. She explained to her son Timothy that he had to see a special doctor who would take a look at his ears. This frightened the young boy, who pleaded with his mother to just let him stay home instead. Teresa wondered why her son was suddenly so fearful of doctors.
