Burt was trying his hardest to be a better father figure for his son, but he quickly knew that he was out of his element at the doctor’s office. The cold and sterile atmosphere made him nervous and only brought bad memories to his mind. He tried to keep a brave face and not let Timothy see that he was anxious, but even the child knew that his parents were uncomfortable about his predicament.
