At most weddings, couples give their guests a gift to remember their big day. These gifts are often things like small candles, a trinket, or a plant. These gifts, more often than not, contain the wedding date and names of the couple getting married.
This is exactly what the guests had hoped for: a tiny gift of thanks for celebrating the couple’s wedding. This, however, was not the case.
