After years of pleading to meet Jaime’s mother, Maria realized that she might finally have the chance. Jaime’s mother walked into the chapel, to everyone’s surprise, looking like she was at a funeral. She was dressed head to toe in black and she had a somber expression on her face. Maria could hardly bring herself to face the woman, but she couldn’t wait a second longer to finally say her peace.
