Silent Treatment
Jaime decided to end the conversation there and Maria let him. She wasn’t sure if the stress of the wedding was getting to her fiancé or if he was really telling her the truth about his mother’s plans to be at the wedding, but she really couldn’t handle a fight right before their wedding. She chose to believe that Jaime was telling the truth and that there were no issues between him and his mother, even though she had a good feeling that wasn’t true.
