There was not a worry in the world for them, but here they already made their second mistake. When they arrived they first should have scouted the area. It was a vast swamp-like place with many nooks and crannies for dangerous animals to hide in. If they would have left most of their belongings in the car and scouted their surroundings they would have already spotted the intruder.
