A full hour past and the brothers didn’t dare to move. The sun had almost set, and in the darkness it would be hard for the brothers to see the alligator. Derek’s phone had no signal and both their fishing gear were lost in the swamp. The photographer was gone and the brothers couldn’t locate him. Their throats were dry, their stomachs empty and their limbs were cold.
