Struggles
He knew no other life than the life on the streets. He had lost his memory as time progressed. He had more immediate things to focus on, however, such as what he would eat.
A challenging circumstance was made immeasurably worse by his inability to recall who he was or how he came to be in that position. He just knew what he could infer. The indications suggested that he must be someone.
