Freddie and his father had been dumpster diving for weeks with no luck. But everything changed one day. Freddie’s father came across a Macintosh computer at their neighborhood Goodwill store.
When Freddie and his father convinced the shop owner to sell it to them, they said, “Hey, I’ll give it to you for $24”. Freddie’s future would be built on the foundation of the computer’s damaged state, even if it didn’t work.
