The thing Brad had presented the boy with was particularly valuable. It was Brad’s absolute favorite snack, and he was more than willing to share one with the child if it would get him to calm down.
From the treat’s silver wrapper, it was obvious that they didn’t come cheap. The chocolates were imported all the way from Belgium.
He listened as the boy demolished the wrapper and devoured the chocolate.
