Chilling Last Words That Changed People’s Lives

Hanging on For Dear Life

When my uncle was 13, he had a brain tumor and was hanging on for dear life. My grandmother refused to leave the hospital, and he asked her to go home to eat and take a shower. He was paralyzed at that point—it was pretty horrific. As soon as she got home the phone rang and he had passed.

My mom said the nurses told them he was holding on because she was there. He didn’t want to go while she was with him because it would be hard on her. The nurses said a lot of patients do that. Story credit: Reddit
