He Wanted Answers
Sandra’s voice trembled as she responded to the stranger on the other end. Her voice was shaking with anxiety by the time she hung up. As soon as she hung up, Steve asked her what was going on.
“Who called? Is everything okay? Tell me what happened?” He bombarded her with questions, eager to learn more about what was going on. Sandra’s response was brief but concerned. “It’s Brandon.” She said, “He’s in trouble.”
